Andy's ATS Mobile Mechanics
Overview

At Andy’s, we aim to keep your vehicles on the road during your business hours.

Many fleet organizations lose revenue opportunities when vehicles “go down”, it creates an additional job task for someone to track vehicle maintenance, and it’s often inefficient to send employees to drop-off/pick-up vehicles at the maintenance shop.

Shouldn’t your business be focused on your industry and customers instead of maintenance? We think so. Andy’s offers a proactive approach to preventive maintenance. We begin with a complimentary initial fleet inspection which we then use to create a customized maintenance program for your fleet. This will outline current deficiencies, major repairs on the horizon, recommend service intervals, and essentially move maintenance operations from your plate to ours.

We provide mobile delivery of our services or we can pick up and drop off your vehicles. We also offer after-hours and weekend maintenance options in an effort to keep your trucks operating during your business hours.

Our Story

The Original “Andy’s” began serving Jacksonville in 1961.

After his service in the Army Air Corps, John “Andy” Andrews Sr moved to Jacksonville, Florida and founded Andy’s Auto Shop in the early 1960’s. The original shop was located on Hendricks Ave in the heart of San Marco. After many decades of success and a few moves around town, Andy’s had to close its doors in 2014. Fast forward a few years and two of Andy’s grandsons, Stuart and Stefan “Andy” decided to relaunch their grandfathers business. Stuart grew up around “the shop” working on cars before he was legally allowed to drive them. Stefan joined the Army where he also picked up nickname “Andy”. When Stefan returned to Florida in 2021, the brothers knew it was time to pick up where their father & grandfather left off. In the Summer of 2021, Andy’s Automotive & Truck Services was opened. “Andy’s ATS” for short specializes in commercial fleet maintenance which is delivered to customers via mobile mechanic.

Fleet Inspection

Why should we start with an audit of your Fleet?

Starting with an assessment has many advantages to assisting in organizing our priorities to keep you safe and on the road during your business hours.

We’ve found that many companies aren’t aware of the status of their fleet. Keeping track of one vehicles many maintenance components is already a lot to track, but its even worse when you’ve got an entire fleet. And most of the time, the employee who tracks maintenance doesn’t have a maintenance background.  Let us conduct a thorough inspection and provide you a complimentary status report of your fleet.

While there can be an endless amount of repairs needed, there is an end to our maintenance budget. Our fleet experts work with the business owner to help evaluate what jobs are necessities and what jobs can wait a while. Just like your business, fleet maintenance tends to work better with a strategy.

This is one of the biggest areas an organization can save money. When the smallest repair need isn’t known about or is ignored, it can turn into big dollars and a lot of down time. A fleet inspection will allow us to discover immediate repairs needed and get a timeline for repairs that may be needed down the road. We then take this information and help you build a customized preventative maintenance schedule.

It’s unfortunate, but sometimes work doesn’t get done right the first time. Sometimes when we bring on a new customer, we find out the last repair shop didn’t install something correctly. Conducting a fleet inspection can potentially allow us to discover these issues before the warranty on that work expires or before the vehicle breaks further.

There are many businesses capable of fixing your vehicles. However, we feel that we’re going to give you a level service like no other. And that starts from our first interaction with a fleet inspection. We want to help improve your business on day 1 well before we ask for anything in return.
